About

Helping young people prepare for what comes next

WhatNext Africa supports young people as they move through important stages of education, work and life.

Why we exist

Young people often reach major transition points without enough preparation, guidance, useful relationships or practical support. That can lead to delay, uncertainty, poor decisions and missed opportunities.

WhatNext Africa exists to help young people prepare intentionally, navigate change and become established in what comes next — while growing into people who can also support the generations that follow.

Mission and vision

Mission

To provide practical transition support, resources, relationships and pathways that help young people prepare for major life changes, settle into what comes next and eventually reach back to support others.

Vision

An Africa in which every young person is intentionally prepared and supported to move from one major stage of life to the next, becoming capable, responsible and able to contribute to others.

How our work has grown

WhatNext has grown from one-off transition events into a broader journey of preparation, support, follow-through and intergenerational responsibility.
