WhatNext Africa

Raising a Worthy Successor Generation

We help young people prepare for, navigate and become established in what comes next.

Why transitions matter

Finishing one stage of life does not automatically make the next one clear. We help young people prepare before major transitions, make informed choices and keep moving after the transition begins.

Our approach: prepare early, support the transition itself, and stay focused on helping young people become meaningfully established in what comes next.

The WhatNext model

A simple five-part journey guides our work.

Prepare

Build direction, information, capability, documents, resources, relationships and backup plans before transition.

Transition

Move between stages with practical choices, support and clear next actions.

Establish

Enter a suitable next-stage pathway and build enough clarity, stability and engagement to move forward.

Progress

Keep building capability, stability and greater independence.

Reach Back

Use experience, relationships and resources to support those coming behind.

The WhatNext Journey

The Journey connects the major stages young people move through. Some parts are available now, others are still being developed, and some are planned for the future.
